tyres came thursday, wheels friday straight to my corner shop...Suzuki dealer got there friday after work just to see how wheels look like and ask lads to put tyres on saturday morning....saturday after work..(some people working saturdays but only 4 hours) got to Suzuki shop they did they usual japanese work and helped me to jack the bike and I started getting dirty swaping wheels.....

got some question from where I got them there is company in England "Devon Rim Company" and they making stainless stell wheels for classic bikes, harleys, customs and any modern bike .I had to deliver hubs and that was not easy coz I'm riding my bike all year long ..rear got off e bay and front from Gina (she had some left over from swap with TBS)big thanks for her

wheels are stainless steel rim with stainless steel spokes and nipples

5.5 inch x 17 inch rear
3.5 inch x 18 inch front

and there is a couple of pics
new set with tyres on
170 vs 190

Those are really cool! What kind of money would I be looking at to have them made like the stock wheels?

Thanx, I didn't know they had anyone over here. I'll have to look into it. Would love to put some stainless wheels on Wendy's bike before the chrome goes south.

I'm gonna have to find out more too, I would love to have near rustproof wheels. Is there much of a weight difference?

Looks like maybe you spent £545.00 per wheel. In U.S. money that would be $1,576.00 if I am reading it right Dog. OEM Triumph is about that too.

I was hoping it wouldn't be quite so expensive, that is out of my price range right now. I would still like to do it but no way I can afford that the way things are now. I was hoping for $400 to $500 a rim and I lace em.

I would ask them question stock size rims are cheaper...and you could reuse your spokes...

Thanks but I would go for stainless spokes too. It just would make more sense to me to use them if I am going for the rims. I really love those rims you had made, very cool. I just want a better quality stock set though.

I would love to see a full profile shot of the bike. I was planning to do something similar to my TBA.

BTW... you've got a bigger rear tire than the one that came on my Ducati. That just ain't right.

I think I may have found a supplier here in the states, I'm going to contact them and see what they can get. Website prices are $334.00 for a rim, lace it yourself. My stock wheels are getting some rust spots and tiny pitting so stainless sure would be great.

We are limited to the availability of aftermarket wheels. The only folks I know of is Jason at British Customs. BC will build you a wheel. You just have to send in your hub as a core. He also has the offset down for the rear. Same with Matt at South Bay Triumph. Both these places are all about aftermarket Triumph stuff. From wild to mild. Matt will even build you a 150hp twin. They have everything and the knowledge to back it up. break out your wallets boys and girls. This stuff ain't cheap.

I know they will do the rear, but I just want stainless rims so they don't rust. I can find a place to re-lace them here in town if I get rims.

Stainless is expensive. Buchanan can do it..they will even powder coat them for you.but you will have to send them your hub so they know how to drill the holes. And you will need to send them the offset so you get the right spokes so that the wheel centers itself when you place it back on the bike(did that wrong before..it was horrible). Lacing the spokes is the inexpensive part. I've been through this before. The wait is kind of long also. My forks are stainless. I wish I had chromed them. Stainless fades and you have to keep polishing them to keep up their shine. Either way, stainless or chrome, you have to polish.

I laced a HD star hub wrong once. I never want to mess with one of those wheels again. If memory serves it was a cross 5 pattern. Was a pain to true up even when it's right.

front is lowered 1 inch and back is lower coz tyre is low than stock but I think that next set of tyres will be Avon Cobra and it has overall diameter for rear wheel same like stock 15 inch tyre (btw have some hagon shorter shocks and might put them on then will take picture for comparition)

That rear wheel is the business. Makes the front look too small though.
