Using the factory specs, dry weight the horsepower to weight ratio is about 1:8 for BOTH the Speedmaster and T-BIRD.
However the torque to weight is 1:11 for the SM, 1:6 for the T-bird.
That will make a significant difference in performance.
Not to mention that the SM/America torque peaks at 44.3 ft. lbs. at 3500 rpm.
The T-bird peaks at 107.7 ft. lbs. at 2750 rpm.
