I have just installed them on my 05 Speedmaster. I put them on in order to attach some highway pegs so as to give me a comfortable position for my feet on longer trips.
They mount under the horn bolt at the top. On the bottom they mount to the lower bolt hole ( once you remove the bolt that came with the bike) via a longer bolt to the lower hole of two holes which hold the foot controls in place. It will require a spacer on each bolt unless the mfg. makes the narrow chrome tube longer. I test rode it to check for vibration and rattles, there were none. Now my next task is finding some h'way pegs that will allow my feet/legs to be comfortable.
