If you replaced the bowl screws with allen head screws it is very easy to pull the bowls and fix anything, if not you still can just not as easily.

Get a piece of clear tube that fits the little nipple on the bottom on the bowl. Hold that tube up along the side of the carb so the open end is above the seam where the bowl meets the carb body. near that nipple where you attached the clear tube there is an allen screw, crack that open. This is the bowl drain, that clear tube will fill to the level of the gas in the bowl. If it is above the seam where the bowl meets the carb body then you have a float issue of some sort, this is also how you check to be sure you have the right level. The check needs to be done with the gas turned on so I would put the tube on, open the drain and then turn the gas on at the tank to minimize overflow.
