I got a pair of the bar end turn signals for my ISO grips
(link). I removed the grips from the bike, and attached the turn signals, but the bars have stoppers in the ends. I believe that on stock bikes, these are used to provide a screw-in for the bar end weights.
So, my question: The wires from the turn signals don't fit easily through the little screw hole. Is there a generally accepted best way to make this mod? Can I remove the plugs? Is it possible and/or kosher to just drill through them? What's the best practice here?
