Yeah, when these are open, gutted all the way through, they're extremely loud. Even the way they are now, I wouldn't use 'em if I had to ride more than a half hour each way to work. I'm lucky because I have a second set with only the first two baffles out. Those are much better for cruising long distances. The sound level is close to that of stock bikes from the late '60s - early '70s.
