Hello all.

Ok, so I’ve read all I can on removing the baffles from my ’07 America, which I will tackle in the next month, but I still have questions.

First, I’m not looking for an increase in performance; I am looking to ride something louder than a sewing machine.

Background, I had carb problems on my first bike, a Honda Shadow, and spent more time tinkering with the carbs than I did riding it. I do not want to get into this scenario again. I like the Ronco method: “Set it and forget it!”

I’ve also read a lot of posts concerning issues riders have had with adjusting the pilots correctly to deliver smooth power over the RPM range. So, I guess I have two questions:

1) If I remove the baffles 1,2 or 1, 2 and 3, does it require rejetting, air box modifications, Etc.

2) If it does require rejetting what jets at what setting works well with baffleless stock pipes.

As I said, I’m not looking to improve performance, just make the bike a little louder. Any information you have would be greatly appreciated!
