I am trying to figure out Kuryakyns web site.I am looking at the swingwing or the switchblade pegs, Do they require a splined adapter? it looks like they don't make one for our bikes.please help

They didn't make a splined adapter for triumps last time I checked. But it would sure make it better if they did. Give them a call. They were in the past pretty helpful.

I found it's not possible to keep the non-splined from rotating. Customer service was not service at all-they suggested I JB Weld the pegs in the correct position.

I got the switchblade pegs with the Triumph adaptors (8840) Set the pegs in position and a good swing on the 1/4" allen wrench the splines on the pegs "bit" into the adaptors nicely...

I have the Switchblade footpegs and never had a problem with them. You have to have the adaptors to mount them though and tighten the he77 out of them with Locktight on the taper and the nut/bolt. Of course I don't try to stand up on them either.
I moved my pillion foot pegs forward and down, so if I want to lift my but off the seat, I just drop one or both feet back under myself and lift up.

I just got mine yesterday put them on with loctite red and put some seious torque on the hex wrench,They are very nice.

I eventually welded mine on the bottom side with stainless steel rod. They don't spin anymore..
