My bike came with the touring windshield and I've never had it off until this summer. In July, it was real hot and I had the screen off for deep cleaning. Figured, it's so warm, I'll leave it off for a while. Holy cow, the windnoise drove me crazy. With my beanie helmet or half-helmet it was very annoying. Rode once with the wife so said, get that windshield back on! Made it two days without the windshield. Guess I'm offically an old foggie.
