Handlebar windshields are ugly as sin, in my opinion, but... they sure are nice in a thunderstorm !! I pulled off my Triumph flyscreen, & yes, I can tell a difference.
The flyscreen will divert air up, & hopefully, over your face & head (along with lighter weight bugs). With it off, you get blasted (but ya look cool!!).
