Welcome to the site. It is a little more difficult to get things for our bikes.
If you check the tech vault here on this forum you'll find lots of parts which are compatible with our bikes from other manufacturer's. This makes it easy to get lots of things which we need.
Myself, I don't have a dealer in my area either. My only options are a two hour drive or to cross the border into the U.S.
Apparently Canadian Tire carries oil filters which can be used on our bikes but I haven't seen them on the shelves and haven't asked at the parts counter if they carry anything. I do get my oil from there and get my filters from a car part place in the U.S.
For brake pads, rotors, chain, shims or many other things I go to a Yamaha or Honda dealer close by.
If you are interested send me a PM through the forum with your email address and I'll send you a copy of a sheet I carry in my wallet with part numbers which fit our bikes.
I have in the past bought from FastEddySports.com and NewSpeedmaster.com. Yes, there are duties but I have found they aren't too bad and both are quick with delivery.
