Its only taken a year but my bar is finally done.
Now its time to stock. Basics are covered,(scotch,vodka,gin,bourbon) but I want a recommendation for a good Irish Whiskey from other than the guy at the local booze shop. So what do you drunks prefer?

Irish Whisky.......why not get the real stuff Scottish whusky or "Uisge beathe" so for you guys a few delights if you want to spend your cash. Glenfarclas 1955 50 Year Old retails app £6000-00 a bottle Black Bowmore 1964 retails for app £2950-00 a bottle Dalmore 50 Years Old retails app £7000-00 a bottle But for the guys who are more in line with myself heres a few quality malts at more sensible prices Clynelish 14 year old £36-00 a bottle Royal Lochnagar 12 year old £33-00 a bottle Bowmore 12 year old £30-00 This is where most of my whusky loving friends go for their favourite tipples. I suggest Patron.
Silver for mixing and Anejo for straight.
Just remember, salt and lime is for Cuervo, and Cuervo is mierda 
Real tequila is 100% agave, and it says so.

Sorry Bill last time I drank tequila, I woke up naked in a graveyard and my first wife left me.Must have been a heck of a night. Present wife gives me dirty looks if I drink Rum now, dont know why. But thats off my shopping list too.
Thank you all for the input, looks like I'll go with the Tyrconnel. Seems to have gotten the most votes.

Irish whiskey is my drink of choice, and I've got a decent collection at home. Here's what I think: Regular Jameson is for beginners. Pretty harsh compared to the rest of the Irish whiskies. Start with Powers, then try Bushmills. Then you'll want to try the Bushmills Black Bush, 10 year old, 16 year old and 21 year old. The Bushmills 400 anniversary 1608 is out now. Get a bottle before it's gone. The Tyrconnell is excellent! Knappogue Castle is nice if you can find it. If you have a friend going through a duty free shop on an international flight, BEG THEM to get you a bottle of Paddy. You can't get that in the US and it's my personal favorite. Tully is ok. After you've tried all of them, you're ready to graduate to Midleton. You should be able to get a Midleton 2008 bottle. 2009 should be out soon. Once you've gotten that far, you'll want a new one every year. I've got 2000-2008 so far. After the Midleton, you'll want to start booking trips to Ireland to get the stuff you can't get in the US, like Locke's, Crested 10, Powers 12 and some of the distillery reserves you'll get on the distillery tours. All the best, you'll love this hobby. Whatever you do, enjoy in moderation and please don't drink & drive or ride.

I am with you on the Midleton...........Wow what a flavour. Bushmills 10 or 16 yr for guests...but keep the midleton for yourself...you won't regret it

If you measure how much you drink you may have a problem with alcohol. If you come hang out with us at AA it will f*** up your drinking. Now how cool is that? Before AA I was amember of ******- Drinks Against Mad Mothers.
2008 BA, Ageon Blue, roadster shield, light bar. tach, big bags, square engine guard, short sissy with rack. All Triumph parts. No mods.

Jamesons 12 year old. I buy a bottle every birthday and sip all year. This was a tough year and this bottle may not make it to St. Patrick's day. {Birthday 1/25}
