I had to go back and look again, I didn't look at all the pictures before. I agree the fit where the risers meet the spacers could and should be better. I don't think the price is out of line although maybe on the high side if they are nicely finished but would really need to see them in person for that. It would be pretty complex to get the mating surface correct where the risers meet the spacers couldn't keep the same size and shape all the way to the angle cut since any angle cut will leave a larger surface than a straight cut.
