Hi, I have a small problem with a new seat. I have an 07 Speedmaster with the stock roadster seat. I have bought a second hand solo seat. I think it was from an America. I naively though that the securing bolt for the roadster would be the same size as the one for the solo seat. I have taken the stock securing spike off the rear fender and it has revealed a threaded hole but the thread is bigger than the thread and bolt from the roadster seat. Any one any idea what size this solo bolt is or the Triumph part number?

Cheers

If you want to switch between the America Solo and the Speedmaster seat, I recommend Fast Eddy's adaptor instead of taking off and on the stock, bolt on cone.
You can also create your own bolt set up pretty easy and cheaper too.

The thread size of the bolt is an M8 iso2 (1.25 pitch English metric)and I think should be approx 30mm long.
