Unfortunately no Newt, but as he (Rick Nielsen) IS one of my guitar heroes I couldn't resist that one. The guitars Nielsen plays are custom made Hamer guitars and they won't do checkerboard for anyone else but Rick.

I came upon this Tipton on eBay and after much investigation (including email messages to/from Bill Tipton himself) it was a steal besides being one of the coolest guitars I've ever seen.

and his all tend to be white and black where this yellow and black but the bodies are so similer i thought maybe you really struck it. its a cool style and the checker board looks good on that style. where are they made.

Merry First Week Of Spring Stewe ,

I got to wondering. Has everyone got those Christmas gifts and goodies receieved three months ago properly affixed to their Triumphs? Are all those cold, neglected and dusty motorbikes properly tuned and gassed for the season? Does everyone's 05 riding gear still fit for 06? Will Triumph be coming out with a 1500 cc cruiser in the future? And Phil - Is the best oil for 05 still the best oil in 06??
