Hey all,

First, let me say Happy Christmas to all of my friends here from whom I have been largely cut off from for months since the ride to Pat's. I had no idea how busy my new course and band would keep me and I just can't seem to get here the way I used to and want to.

So anyway...Happy Christmas

Next.

After spending a lot of loot on braided stainless steel cabling for my throttle and choke, speedo, brake and clutch, I have A. Decided I don't like it as much as I thought and B. They have cancerous-looking blotches running their length from my shooting lubricant down them which then bled through the weave. Suffice it to say, they're shot looks wise.

What I REALLY want, but don't tell Jenny, is black anodized stainless steel weave.

If anyone know's where I can price this stuff out, made for our rides or custom...it would be much appreciated.

Maybe give Brent an email on the cable thing. I'm almost sure I've seen cables like that online somewhere. If I remember correctly you could even get them in colors.
Maybe I'm thinking of Spiegler brake lines....?

Barnett Cables makes excellent stuff. They show 4 choices of covers and you can see them at the bottom the page I linked to.

Give them a call as they may offer more and not show it on their website...

Christmas or not..I'm not wearing it!!

My band has been out for one open mic and I believe we plan on it again this week with three new songs.

We figure one more month and we're ready to go on our own. Got enough songs for one and a half sets. And we wrote pieces of two new ones last week.

I'm buzzed. I cannot WAIT to feel the stage under my feet again.

I know they're lame excuses...but they're all I got. I've been getting up at about 3:00 and working out, then writing lessons, then shower and out the door. I crash around 8:00. Tuesdays are band nights and they wipe me out for days since I'm up til midnight. then I recover on the weekend and do my honey do stuff.

I'll try to get back more often...all of you are leaving my post ratio in the dust.

Happy New Year...and I don't even want to hear about how you're still riding and we aren't. pphhhhtttt....!!!

Thanks, I will bookmark the page. I saw the black vinyl and my heart skipped...til I realized it was just black vinyl...I still have the old ones in my shop.

I'll give em a call when I have loot again. At the moment actually, I'm saving for more ink.
