I am thinking that if you remove the AI from an injected bike the O2 sensor further down the stream will see less 02.
The FI will apply a correction to bring the reading back in tune to its desired setting, as it cant increase the air it will decrease the fuel, this will actualy lead to a weaker mixture, not what you would be wanting with swapping out the silencers as well.
Of course if there is a FI remap it should take care of this if it was set for the AI removed, meyby the Triumph remap does not.
