Dog, I checked the pipes with a 3' length of dowell rod. Sure enough, there's one more obstruction in the pipes at a location that could make it a third baffle. Unfortunately, I don't have tools like the ones you posted. Maybe I can pick up some heavy angle iron or rebar at Home Depot and grind it to a point.
