Moe is correct and I've had a similar experience with the dealership trying to slip something by me. I would insist on matching tires and want to inspect them. Matching the tires makes more sense cause they'll wear and ride the same. Dunlops are fine and usually have a good wear life. Metzlers and Avons are my preferred brands but I know many people that swear by Dunlop.
