Went in the triumph dealership for oil. checked for stock tires was told they had them instock I wanted to prepay for the front tire now and bring the wheels in one at a time for mounting at a later date. I paid 117 for the tire after paying I asked "That is a metzler right?" Was told no, thats a Dunlop. I said I WANT Matching Tires and I prefer Metzler". Dealer said the rear Metz. in stock and they would order a front metzler and I could pay the price differance when its mounted. Days later they called tire is in.
After the call i figured out i didnt have the tools to get the front wheel off. so the next day i dropped them the rear wheel on lunch break. after work i payed at the front of store and walking back to pick it up i said to the guy (same guy that ordered the metzler days earlier)"You put a Metzler on right?" I was told No ITS A Dunlop!!! And we have your front metzler here (pre-paid 117 on 150) whenever your ready. I was so shocked and it showed he says Itll be ok I talked to the service guys and you can mix those brands and the only differance is the words on the sidewall cause we matched the tread.
ANY ADVICE ON THIS B.S.
My options.
1)Should I take the rear wheel back and tell them Metzler or
2)Tell them to put matching Dunlop on the front
3) Roll with the rear dunlop/ front metzler
