I gotta think this is a really bad time to be launching a new heavyweight cruiser in that price range.

On the other hand they'd only have to sell 2500 units to gain a 5% boost in overall Triumph sales...or, to put it another way, sell roughly 1/2 the number that Victory sells in a year. That's likely doable even in a down economy. Now, the new Indian, on the other hand, is really swimming upstream at a starting price of $30K.

WOW Ed!!! I'm impressed, dude! Looks like you've got a pretty good head for figures there, ol' buddy!

(hey, tell ya what...if I send my financial portfolio to ya, do ya think you can do a better job with it than that goofball "financial planner" I've been usin' over at Wachovia all this time???...all I've been hearin' from HIM lately is, "Well, you might as well stay in The Market NOW, ol' man!")

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)
