Just on the off chance, when you are changing down are you blipping the throttle. I found that on my EFI this causes the ECU to go into a state of panic and sometimes the engine dies.
I had put the TORS on and had the stealer remapp it. If I do not blip the throttle while changing down the bike is fine..
