It just cuts off. The engine never stutters pops or anything. It just dies. I had a tach installed when I purchased the bike. RPMs were between 2500-3500 when shifting into 5th gear. I did not look to see that the RPMs were when I was downshifting. I was coming to a stop and was not on the throttle.
