Sometimes it takes an adjustment. I didn't have mine tailored for me originally from the factory, and it was way too hard. But after I sent it back for an adjustment, I haven't had to use my AirHawk cushion or sheepskin cover. I had a gel pad on top of the stock seat 7 years ago and hated it.
