Z - Yes, the Riva is a snug fit. I'm 6'0 170 lbs and not particularly abdominally challenged. A tight fit with this jacket would would also make it difficult to get much use of the pockets. I've had the jacket since last Fall so rode in a range of weather. It takes a little while to get the armor broken in, but a very comfortable jacket.
Dick - I would say my experience with the motoport stretch kevlar pants was similar to that described in the link. There was clearly abrasions to the pants and I think a few small holes, but no damage to me. By the way, motoport repairs were fine, but they tend to take the form of a patch so you have an odd looking rectangle on the leg.
