Yes they are permanent and from what I hear laser removal is painful AND expensive so be sure you want it but...If you DO really want one then GO FOR IT!
I've got 4 now and as soon as one is done I can't wait to get another, it's that cash flow problem that keeps me waiting. (BTW, I didn't get my first one till I was 30 and waited another 10 years for the next cause the first one almost got me divorced. Now 3 years post divorce I have 2 more and counting)
The biggest mistake most people make with their first tattoo is not making it big enough. With a logo like that you should make sure it's big enough to show the details and keep them over the years.
Really do your due diligence when you pick an artist, if their work doesn't make you say WOW keep looking.
