I can't really comment on tatts as they are personal to people as finger prints and I'v always been too drunk, not drunk enough, too young, too skint or just too plain chicken to get one.
However the one thing that always cracks me up at work is when I go to pop an IV line into someone with tattoos and they pipe up "I don't like needles". So I always ask if their tatts are stick-ons.
Perhaps if I inserted the cannula in and out a thousand times a second it might help.
