For anyone interested, Fast Freddy is in the process of testing 10.5:1 compression pistons for the 865 right now, I think when I spoke to him last he had at least 100 sets to sell. That was a few weeks ago, and he told me he was going to try and destroy the motor to see if the pistons will hold up, he seemed pretty confident that they will last. Sounds like a very affordable upgrade with no machine work to deal with, pretty much drop in new pistons and go.
