Okay, so I ended up doing a couple different things. I had ripped off the original taillight assembly and decided to make the lay down plate with tabs for aftermarket turnsignals. That was a peice of cake, looks good, and it felt good to do something myself.
So anyway, my father see's me hacking and destroying in the basement because I went over there to steal his tools. (#1 reason apartment life sucks by the way.) Anywho...hes a tool guy, so his interest is piqued. We rip apart the original assembly and he says he can turn down and rethread the stems for the taillights. Me of little faith says, "Go ahead, that would be great."
So today he comes home with the fixture, and tells me I owe him a six pack. It does look good, im sure someone else has already done this but whatever. Haha...
Anyway, now I don't know what to do. The bike is in someone else's garage so I wont be able to put anything on it and take pics till tommorrow. Im even contemplating putting the aftermarket signals on the stock license plate holder. I want to try all three, see how it looks, take pics, and see what the concensus is around here.
