Good question, well spotted, I didnt want to put tabs on to screw the plate into so plate is stuck on with those double sided pads. Wont move and pretty easy to remove when I need to get at wiring. Keeps it clean as well. Cheers Chris

double sided tape? You better tie a piece of fishing string on there just in case, cause youre gonna lose that at higher speeds I bet.

Done a few quickish runs with the plate on, its still there. I used specialist automotive pads that are designed for vehicle number plates. They seem pretty strong and if you've ever tried to get one off they are a bugger. Got some good comments too. Cheers Chris

i guess time will tell then. Theres a difference in sticking a plate on a car vs. a motorcycle though. The winds from driving forward are pushing on all sides or your plate. On a car the back of the plate is flush and shielded from the wind. The weather in the UK doesnt help either.

Its not illegal its just not the legal size required. Keep them guessing, as long as it can be seen and read from a reasonable distance they seem to be fine. The main problem is the ones that the numbers and letters are missrepresented or done in a stupid italic script that can't be read. Not been done yet, but might be if it falls off, see above. Cheers Chris

I used these stems from JP cycle: part # 3200520 $8.99 for a set
The long end threads into the OEM turn signal housing. It needs to be cut down cause its too long and interferes with the bulb socket. I also used a thin nut, lock washer and red loctite on it as well.
How did you attach these to the bike ?

Thanks Mate. I couldn't see properly in the earlier photo, but these photos are excellent. Fantastic design. Cheers, Jimmy.
