Here are my valve gaps and shim measurements.
exhaust 30.5 / 30.5 / 30 / 30
shim 2.67 / 2.57 / 2.63 / 2.80

Intake 20.5 / 22 / 19 / 15
shim 2.82 / 2.77 / 2.82 / 2.90

These values have to be wrong. You may have the decimal in the wrong place for the measured clearances. Is the first exhaust clearance 30.5mm or .305mm or are the clearances in thousands of an inch? 30thou is a lot. so is 30mm??

With Pat's Calculator, just put the measured clearance gap and original measured shim size in the left boxes of the calculator. In the upper right box, click on the average exhaust clearance (should be .275mm) then press calculate. That is the desired shim size but because triumph shims only come in .025mm sizes between 2.00 and 3.20mm you need the closest one that fits.
The problem with giving you the clearances is that we could make a mistake which could end up bending a few valves.
