Yes, you absolutely can get out the door on an 883 cheaper than a 865 Triumph. The high volume dealers you can get a 1200 out the door for about the same numbers.

I think the point of the thread has been lost. Yes the global economy sucks. Yes bikes are generally bought as toys not transportation so they are the first to be sold and the last to be bought when money is tight.
