Looking to get the machining done for the 904 kit just curious as what you've paid to have the work done.

a lot of it will depend on how much you want to do... and how much of the work you will be doing your self... I belive the kit is over $600 bucks right now and that just for the kit.. ED

got a quote of $350 from Dinqua's guy. Wanted to be sure that was in the neighborhood of what guys are paying for the work.

D&D in Pensacola does the whole thing - no sleeves - nickasil barrels, including all labor and dyno runs for around $1300. It was about $1200. when I did mine late 2007. Best money I've spent on the bike since I owned it. I've spent way more than than on accessories, chrome, etc. D&D Performance

Yea this is no time to be frugal, plus this guy has done this work before. I'm looking at $645 for the barrels, grind the ports & competition valve job. after seeing what he did on Dinqua heads I've decided to pack the whole shebang to him & get it done.

Bought the 904 kit from Bill Gately @ Bonnie Performance along with the Oil Pressure Gauge and Barnett Clutch.....He Put it in for $375.00

Looks like the Gym work's making a difference ED  If you keep it up you might even have to change your rear springs.

would love to brother ed. all i have ever done is slide down a grass hill while seated on a piece of cardboard. would like to put a bb in a snowmobile. maybe i ought to try one stock first eh? i figure 6 c notes for the winter clothing and another 25 c notes for a used engine and bb kit.  did i mention cost and bb?

Those tires are covered with nice sharp metal studs. The guards might provide a bit of protection if you endo it, not really sure.....
