I want to ceramic coat the exhaust pipes on my bike. Does anyone have any experience with this? Thanks in advance for the help.

Yes. I had my headers coated with Cermachrome. Looks more like aluminum than chrome, but can be polished up reasonably well. Biggest advantage is that it spreads out the heat = no more blueing whatsoever. Hope this helps!

Been planning on sending my D&Ds to Jet-Hot for satin black ceramic coating. Just haven't gotten around to it. I think the estimate was $115. Got the pipes for $75 on ebay so it's still cheaper than getting new black pipes from Brent. Jet-Hot seems to be very customer service-focused and are pretty cool to deal with.

I may be giving THIS a try. More likely I'll go with the old standby HEADER PAINT. I used to use it on the hot rods and buggies, worked great.

Umhummmm. You might want to check this out before you give Jet-Hot any dough. Link
