Been gone for almost a year and a half.....Still miss my America. I tried the Tiger1050. Funny thing, I liked it O.K. but it just never felt right. Bottom line, I like tube tires, spokes and chrome. The thing just never felt like it had any soul. So, I am back on the forum and looking for my next ride. Man it is good to be home!

Welcome back. I like having tubes, spokes, carbs, and a chain as well. It definitely feels like a modern day classic cruiser to me.

(...and nice hearin' you may soon be back among the fold here too!)

Yep! Just like a good Single Malt Scotch, you might call me "an acquired taste" TOO.(among the many OTHER things you may care to call me, of course)

Welcome back. Ryan has an '03BB which is not only a fine ride but would be a good fly-n-ride for you! 600 miles thereabouts.

It will have to be an America 2002 to 2005 or early 2006. Not terribly concerned with color as I did not realize at the time but one of the things I missed most about not having my old ride was the fact that I could tear into it, re jet, fool with the carbs, tinker with farkles, change paint, etc.etc.....you know tinker with it. The Tiger is a truly awesome maching but a little to techno gizmo'd for much back yard wrenchin/ custom stuff.

Thanks for the heads up. I remember seeing that bike at GA 07. I think he was trying a set of flat side carbs then. Bike was always clean as a pin and ran great. That is a serious list of goodies. Thanks again.

What's up folks ? Yeah I'll be making a return as well. As soon as I sell my tiger I'll begin searching for an America to "adjust" to my wishes. Can't go back to the T100 ... fine ride but a tad smallish for me. So America it is. Although I fully intend to have whatever America I get my hands on painted exactly like my beloved T100.
