I'll second that! I rode a buddys 790 with opened up airbox and exhaust (rejetted of course) about 40 miles this afternoon. After having my 904 for about 20,000 miles, i had forgotten how big a difference it made. Holy cow! I am still VERY happy with my 904. The 790 just plain feels weak. The 904 has never left me with that feeling. It's no torque monster, but the bike definitely doesn't feel underpowered like the 790.
