IIRC, if you use winRAR they'll have to have it to "un-rar" the files. Zip is the most common protocol. Even some versions of Windows will open zip files automagically. Also, you can make Zip files self-executable, or self-unzippable. This could be a problem because the files have an ".exe" extension instead of a ".zip" extension and some mail servers don't like EXE files because they are one of the primary ways viruses and spyware are transmitted so they just block that filetype altogether. HOWEVER, it could still work since you are the source and you're probably fairly certain you don't have any viruses. If it's a problem you can change the filename extension to ".txt", send the file, then have the recipient change it back to ".exe" and unzip the file normally.
