You seem to think I'm attacking here but I'm not. Just drawing comparisons. I think you're a little too close (regionally or otherwise) to this to discuss it rationally. Actually the city of Sturgis wouldn't disappear if the Black Hills Motor Classic went away, it is still located on a major interstate and would probably be not much more than a gas stop on the way to various tourist attractions. But it would look vastly different without that massive annual influx of cash. Myrtle Beach would (and will) look different too but the effect will be much less apparent. Myrtle Beach can do whatever they want, I just hope there's no other kind of backlash from the biker community.

Any backlash will prove that it shouldn't be there.

Also, you're in no position to tell me whether or not I can argue this rationally, especially because I lived in New Jersey the first 3 time I went to Myrtle beach. I'm still 5 plus hours away.

Clay

Wait a minute here Clay, I'm a bit confused here.

You said John was wrong about your ability for rational thinking and THEN you mention living in NEW JERSEY!!!!

Dude, aren't you undercutting your own argument RIGHT THERE????

(hey...I'm kiddin', I'm kiddin'...don't take offense now...I LOVE NJ...no REALLY...it was JUST a friggin' JOKE!!!)

Hey, New Jersey is a nice place to move from!
