How many time do you go to Sturgis, not during bike week? Do you know anyone that goes there every year, multiple times, and never during bike week? See, people go there(black hills, and Rushmore) and then leave, and don't usually go back. Myrtle is different, people go back all the time. I've been in the winter and the summer. Myrtle has an economy that doesn't depend on bikes. Sure, bike week doesn't hurt monetarily, but it won't be blowing away without it.
