Well there is that and as they changed hands several times the program went down hill too. the program now purposly leaves small pirces of itself behind that you need a tool from Symantec to remove. They also don't try and make the program compatible with programs people want they instead tell you to remove them. Zonealarm is an example of a really good free program and I wouldn't remove that in favor of the Norton firewall built into the anti-virus.Up until now they recomeneded you remove it but it didn't cause a problem but now if you try and run Norton 2009 and Zonealarm it will freeze your system. Tiger Direct reccomended some when I was buying RAM from them, since the reason I was buying it was because Norton was making my system drag.I have 2.5 GB of RAM now but still want to find something better that doesn't hog so much of my resources. I'm still looking around, the program I mentioned before was offering a rebate if you could prove you bought Norton that ended up making it so all you pay is shipping. The regular price was about $80. Last I heard that was only until the first of the year and I didn't find out about it in time to research it myself.
I learned all I need to know about life by killing smart people and eating their brains. Eat right ,Exercise ,Stay fit, Die Anyway!
