I put AVG on a laptop once. While I suspect I had a virus, it trashed my laptop. Got no support from them. Back up your data before you install a virus protection software. Had to reinstall Windows after formatting the disk. I now have McAffee free from Comcast (part of their Internet cable service). Works great and good service. Now if they could just reduce TV commericals and improve the quality of the programs.
