Happy New Year to everyone! Hope everybody got what they wanted from good old Santa.

We are putting feelers out for the Easter break (Friday 10 April to Monday 13 April). Pam and I have been to Ullapool on numerous occasions in the past and we find this area of Scotland has excellent biking roads and is a very beautiful part of the world.

Ullapool as a base has everything you need. Pubs, B&B's, eateries and for the hardy of us an excellent campsite adjacent to the beach. When we have camped in the past the owner didn't mind us having bonfires on the beach

So, is anyone up for the Lochinver Pie Challenge? (Oh yes there's an excellent pie shop just north of Ullapool on one of the best roads you'll ever see in Europe).

I look forward to your comments

Steve and Pam

Remember Neil this is before the wee beastie midges are out, so we shan't get the full effect

Good to hear from you Ivan. Did Santa get you any port? I don't know if your kid's said anything about the Bonnerville bash, but we have booked also so we could travel down together if you don't mind.
If you do decide to come at Easter you won't be disappointed. Haggis and whisky.... what more do you want!!! It also looks as if we shall be at Mag Rallys: Into the Valley / Farmyard Party / and Ganton Gathering. We can't make Dent this year

Port supplies boosted by Santa

We are booked on Dent, Bonny bash and a nice little trip around France - Loire, Champagne and Burgundy - bit of a theme developing here Our kid has removed his stabilisers from his bike now so it should be some good riding

Will be great to catch up with you and Pam - ride down to the Bonny Bash with you guys will be great.

Will catch up before that hopefully - if you and Pam are over on the east coast and fancy a glass of port - give us a call big fella!
