Now that I have peaked your curiosity.

Dick's Sporting goods have a neck/head warmer that will fit under a helmet.

It is similar to the "Buff" but only in black. It was on sale here in Wichita (do-da) for 9.99

Just thought I would let you all know.

The January '06 issue of American Motorcyclist has an article "26 things we don't roll without".

One of these is an Aerostitch Wind Triangle.

Aerostitch Wind Triangle

While these are more expensive, they are more appropriate to my needs. With my full face helmet, my chin is the only thing that gets cold.

Just another option to consider.

Here's a link to Dick's site...

So what does wind protection have to do with Baklava?

Or did you mean Balaclava which got its name from the knitted hoods worn by the soldiers? Don't you just hate smart arses!

And talking of buffs, I saw some at the local dealers that had the Triumph logo on them. Looked on the buff website but couldn't see them on there - maybe they are dealer exclusive?

nobby

ps, do not make the same mistake that I did and go to buff.com unless you are "light in the loafers" and looking for a "friend" - scary!!

Dunno but I got one from the dealer with Triumph on it - it's one of the winter one's that's part fleece.

We only have your word 'it was by accident' you found that site

PS: Incidentaly, I read that for pretty much the same reason 'break.com' is now the new name for 'big-boys.com'.
Pretty obvious that one really don't ya think!!??

Aha - but what you did'nt know was that when the ancient Greeks, Arabs and Assyrians etc. went out on their chariots and horses, the ones that had been eating baklava noticed that where they had flakes of the pastry on their faces, it reduced the coldness of the breeze...and thus was born the concept of facial protection from cold and wind which culminated in the invention of the balaclava and latterly the buff!! (or perhaps not....did soldiers in the Crimea eat small, delicate flaky pastries... ???)
