19th - 21st June 2009 Book it in your Diary

I think Mal and I will be going, it's getting a tradition no matter what the weather throws at us. Suppose we'll have to put up with booze, bikes and wild woman as usuall...

It's a possibility.

I did enjoy last years, even if the ride home was a bit hairy down the M1.

It's been a couple of years, so might do it this year.

Same reply as last year - done it a couple of times, original location was better than new one.

And the last year they used the old site it was VERY wet!!!
Nobby and I left in the am before the flood!

Considering it was glorious weather all weekend, the torrential rain on the Sunday afternoon was a shocker.

Yes Pam and I will make the Farmyard Party. Already booked the Friday off work so we should be there fairly early to get pitched on the "SMOKIN" field

By the way, has anyone thought about what they are doing at Easter? ULLAPOOL AT EASTER (LOCHINVER PIE CHALLENGE)

Ok, ticket ordered and all set to go!

The next thing is to remember how to get there.

Look forward to seeing you folks there.

Mal & I never seem to have a problem getting there, we just seem to get lost at the same place coming back every year... maybe this year we wont (haha)

Have a great time. Missing it this year as it is Jahel's eldest's birthday on the Sunday.
Will be there next year though.

Graham, M1 J49, turn right! A168, then turn right onto A170 (don't forget the turning!!!!! unlike some people who will remain nameless!!! ) then follow your nose to campsite!!!!
So to recap, 3 roads, so you should only get lost twice (even you can't miss the M1)

Finally Got the Pass Out from 'She who must be obeyed'.
What time are most of those going due to arrive?? I wanna hang with the 'Old Sweats' who have done the event in the past. Best place to pitch, best place to P*ss and best group of Bikes!!

Think what you say .....before you say what you think!!! If in doubt...say nowt!!

Mal and I are usually first to arrive and try and get a good pitch, We try and find somewhere which is central to the toilets, bar and food. Does not always work out, but we try our best

If the bike is back on the road, I'm up for it again. No ridin back in 70mph sidewinds next time. Scarier than wakin everyone at the farmyard up at 4:30.

Ray, when I get up there I'll give you a bell and find out where you and Mal are pitched.

Simon, hope you can make it mate, It would be great to have a few beers and a laugh again!

Don't say it Ray,

I really did have a bit of a guilty conscience about giggling about it at the time last year.

I did want to help but I was a bit stuck as well, couldn't reach my camera to get a photo so I thought .... might as well laugh.

I'm going to leave home roughly about 8-9am so with plenty of opportunities to get navigationally challenged and a splash of fuel here and there, I should be up there about 1-2pm.

Tent poles are safely stowed!

Another great weekend.

Nice to meet up with some of the old faces and meet some new ones.

It was quite funny to stand there on Friday night after a few beers and work out who's bike was parked up with ours and Chophead stood there listening to us.
