The fact that there's 8 pages worth of responses seems to indicate that it's not a wasted thread. And depending on who you talk to, everything is a clone of a Harley Davidson. I saw the Fury in person at the NY MC show yesterday. It's pretty good looking and from the saddle it feels fine. One of my gripes about the Fury is the same as the HDs - the big honking airbox on the right side interfering with my leg.
Other than that, it aint bad!
However I did sit on the Honda DN-01 automatic/scooter/cruiser/whatchamacallit. I was pretty disappointed. It was very top-heavy to me.
I also sat on one of those big stupid Jap cruisers. A Vulcan maybe? 800 lbs dry? What a pig! If I'm going to ride an 800 lb bike it'll be a well-balanced one like a Vision.

I kinda like it myself. Another possible steed for the garage as soon as the used market has some.  Very classy motorsickle and when something breaks you won't have to fashion a part for it.

I like the wheels and headlight, you can keep the rest. I would try and adapt those wheels to my bike if I could find a set cheap. Looks like I would have to mount the sprocket where the rotor currently is and vise versa,

I don't, Kevin. I just look another look at the pic of it that Moe posted, and that air box doesn't appear to be stickin' out nearly as much as the air cleaners do on most Harleys. But, I know what you mean. That's one of things I never much cared for whenever I'd ride me one o' them there Harley-Davidson motorsickles!

Dwight, I sat on the Fury at the NY MC show and that air box was the first thing I noticed, and only thing I remember about it. And that goes double for the HDs.

Dwight, the Fury wasn't unveiled until the NY show in January. Really, not a bad bike but not enough to make me switch teams as it were.

Saw this bike today. Personally it is a little too clean to look at giving it a pretty generic look IMO. Crazy air filter gets in the way of your right leg when you sit on it. Definitely a barhopper. Has potential to be fixed up too look pretty nice though. Coupla changes here and there and could be a nice looking bike and relatively comfortable riding position. Not gonna kill my dream of owning one of them there unsellable motorsickles though. Got a choice where my $$$ goes and so far I am still sticking with that Triumph Unicorn. Err, Thundercorn, errr, err, I mean Unibird. Awww pshaw, you know what I mean.

Well Jim, I beg to differ here, but ya know there WAS a time in the early '70s when chopped CB750s were all the rage and more than a few folks thought they were pretty cool.
And THAT might'a been because those AMF Harleys at the time didn't have the best reputations reliability-wise, and those Honda 4's seemed to run, and run, and run, and run, and.......
(though personally, I was never all that much into those ill-handling contraptions, be they Harley, Honda, Triumph, BSA, etc-powered and/or "cool lookin'" or not!!!)

I came "that" close to buying a '73 Honda loooong bike 70's bike show chopper a few years back. Just reached down for the electric starter switch and ride off. I'd be riding that one now, vs the '66 Bonneville that constantly needs something to keep it running.......

Yep Al, my point exactly! And, I have to admit that even though, as I said above, I was never all that crazy about ridin' those choppers(back then, one of my buddies had a Panhead Chopper and another had a Honda Chopper kind'a like the one you posted here, and they both would let me ride their bikes in exchange for them riding my BSA RocketIII), that chopped Honda here IS pretty cool lookin' alright!

I sat on the fury at the Cleveland bike show. It sat nice
and it looked really good. Small gas tank is the flaw. But the bike itself looked great

My friend has a similar chopper he made except more chrome and it's red. Last I heard he moved to Fl. so if ya see one it probably belongs to Bill Roberts. I never could understand why he would waste so much money on a Honda. Spend thousands and still have a bike no one wants.
I constantly hear how the 60s Triumphs need so much to keep them running. All I can say is it must be people who don't know how to work on them. All mine ever needed as a tweek to adjust the points now and then and a valve adjustment once in a while. Just regular upkeep. Now I have seen many many old Triumphs that wear out and the owner tries to put a band aid on a worn out bike instead of rebuilding it. Those bikes constantly need work.

Yeah Eddy, I agree. "THAT" kind'a feet-forward riding position sure can put a lot of stress on one's lower back, and sure doesn't allow one to position one's legs under them to help cushion any jolts that may get past the bike's suspension and that go right up one's spine, now does it?! Geeeeee...I wonder what other kind'a bikes out there have "that" kind'a riding position, HUH?! (hey...I only say this because until I made those supplimental mid-mount pegs for my BA, my spine would often feel EVERY ONE of those jolts!)
