Rt. 64 is a straight shot from Anamosa across to Sabula, I don't remember how good the pavement is between Anomosa and Maquoketa. But from Maquoketa to Sabula it's pretty good. (we rode that part yesterday as part of out local RAT ride)
151 from Dubuque is all 4 lane, are you looking for good twisty backroads? or to run the snore lane down and find some twisty stuff for the return trip?
