Well I hope he has sense enough to put fins on the jugs before he drops it in!

No power adders here...At least for right now... I do not feel that I am mechanically inclined enough to tear down a motor... Nor do i have the money to pay someone else to do it... ... Sad part is I work on cars for a living...But I never tear into the motors, I just install electronics...everything from Heated seats to cd players to remote starters to show quality and competion stereo systems... I can customize the ****** out of anything...I have resources to do just about anything except motor work... any way here are the plans for this bike... Tank and fenders will be a flat black with a flat clear over the top... Forks tubes will be powder coated flat black... Rear fender brace will be powder coated flat black... Head light will be powder coated flat black... Handle bars will be powder coated flat black... Front turn signals will be powder coated flat black... Speedo will be painted flat black... Dash board will be painted flat black... Wheel's will be powder coated flat black... Seat will be upholstered in distressed leather... Exhaust will be Header wrapped in black and dump out about 3" past the factory slip on point... Rear turns will be flush mounted into the lower mounting holes on the turn signal... White wall's front and back... Rear lowered 1.5"... Red Handle Grips... HID 8k I hate to say it but Davo's 08 Speedy made me do it...I am doing a lot of the same stuff as him only in flat black and putting my own twist on different things...His bike is truly a work of art and I hope mine turns out half as good

Well you definately have a plan. All sounds good, although the exhaust sounds like it will be a little on the short side and probably a little loud.
BTW, where you located?

Vincennes, IN ...about 1 hour south of terre haute on 41....or if you know where evansville is i am 1 hour north on 41...
I can't imagine getting the pipes much louder than the straight pipes on there now...But im sure they will be and oh well...I like the loud...:).... The paint guy wants to start next saturday...I already have all the paint parts striped of all badges and housings...I need to take about 3 hours and finish the powder coat parts so i can get them down to that guy...the seat is going to the upholster tomarrow...I have a whole cow hide at the shop and its a darker leather i have been thinking about using...we will see what the upholster guys says

Hey Stoner, take a look at the red metalflake solo seat someone posted on here one day, to go with those red grips! Can't find it now, but someone will probably know where it is and post you a pic. Good luck!
And you may see me tonight

Hey TOONCES... I see the exhaust hangers and rear peg hangers are off. Is that all? Those short pipes look perfect with your setup. Nice lines. The line created from the top of the shock to the end of your pipe creates a parallel line to the rake of the forks. Looks cool.

DunnSpeed, thank you. Stripping/painting the front forks made a distinct difference, for me anyway. Changes to come, air box out, jetting/pods and lower front/rear. Good luck with yours--all BLACK --ya gotta love that

no front end AHHHH Desided to make a custom head light lens....why use that nasty whitish looking bump lens? So I had a clear one made for me I learned a lesson doing the glass mod....If you touch the inside of the housing you will leave finger prints...Do not use cleaner on the reflector...I did and it smeared like an oil across the chrome...left it real streaky....so I decided to go get some chrome polish and polish it back out...after about 5 rubs i noticed i was rubbing threw the chrome... here is the head light and the discolored spot on the left is a shiny black that is underneath the chrome... So I have used lacquer thinner to remove the rest of that chrome stuff...I now have a totally HIGH Reflective inner housing...I hope my HID makes up for the loss...It may end up being a really really cool mod...Again the black finish is like a mirror finish

If anyone wants a seat done let me know....This guy said he would continue to do them...He told me no custom work though...He just doesn't have time...He runs a full time upholstery business single handedly.

Looking pretty good so far.
Only thing I've got - and I don't remember why - is the exhaust wrap- on bikes, I've always heard you should wrap from back to front- something to do with how it overlaps.

The idea is you don't want an edge the wind can catch. How much of an issue that would be I can't say. Same reason a fish wouldn't want it's scales facing the other way.

I like the blacked out look! What kind of paint did you use on the shiney bits? I'm finding it a much better use of my time to paint my chrome than to polish it....

It may very well just work I have never used the stuff myself I just know why they want you to wrap it that way. You wet the stuff and stretch it so that it shrinks in place so I doubt you will have a problem, who knows?
