Desided to make a custom head light lens....why use that nasty whitish looking bump lens? So I had a clear one made for me
I learned a lesson doing the glass mod....If you touch the inside of the housing you will leave finger prints...Do not use cleaner on the reflector...I did and it smeared like an oil across the chrome...left it real streaky....so I decided to go get some chrome polish and polish it back out...after about 5 rubs i noticed i was rubbing threw the chrome...
here is the head light and the discolored spot on the left is a shiny black that is underneath the chrome...
So I have used lacquer thinner to remove the rest of that chrome stuff...I now have a totally HIGH Reflective inner housing...I hope my HID makes up for the loss...It may end up being a really really cool mod...Again the black finish is like a mirror finish
