That is exactly what I thought last year and come up with a cunning plan to drive slowly up the M1 then M6 until I saw a bike that looked like mine with some bags strapped to it and follow it.
As it worked successfully for that jaunt I thought i'd give it a go by driving slowly from France towards Poland until I saw someone else riding a bike like mine with bags on it and follow them.
The preparation is going well but I can't seem to find any European handlebars that will allow me to drive on the opposite side of the road.
Before the war on terror, if I saw an unattended package I used to think "I'll be having that!"
