To all interested (worldwide ; HelAngels; are welcome). As some of us already know: The 2009 Euro-Rally next year will take place in Northern Poland from Friday 31st of July to Sunday the 2nd of August (or 3th if you want to stay another night). Put this in your calendars. Any way it would be somewhere close to my beautiful home town Gdansk. As we have already planed in Iseo, it's gonna be enough time to visit Hel too. More details soon

Happy New Year Pawel Count Jackie & myself in, we will most likely be aranging a mini European tour around the event.. well it would be rude not too, might even take Jackie to the lakes in near Elk P.S as long as I don't have to camp at Stogi again, I don't mind where it is

No problem Andy, we will most likely get the Dover Dunkirk ferry on the Wednesday morning & take our time to get up to Poland via a more scenic route than the Autobann & then tour on the way back.

Well that's Jackie & I sorted We have booked the Euro Tunnel on the Wednesday 29th on the 06.50 am crossing (cost £30 each way). We have only booked an outward journey only as we will be doing a bit of touring after the rally along the Baltic coast towards Denmark & then down the coast, so we may come back on one of the ferries, maybe Dunkerque, we will just go with the flow As I have done this route to Gdansk before, we have planned to stop the first night in Hannover at a Formule 1 hotel again as they are good for bikes, cheap & easy to find I have booked the Hannover Ost Lahe for the Wednesday night.(38 Euros for a room & breakfast) Address : Rendsburger Straße 28A 30659 HANNOVER Germany web page and then we plan to head into Poland & camp somewhere around Koszalin on the Thursday night, leaving a short hop to the rally on Friday. The first 2 days mileage are approx 374 miles on day 1 & 368 miles on day 2 & 126 miles on day 3 So I suppose I better start packing then

That's me sorted too. Well I did'nt think that after nearly 60 years, i'd be going back to the city of my birth, please don't ask for any directions, 'cause it was pretty dark in that ambulance, in more ways than one Dave, make sure you get the dates right this time

2 stops from Kent to Gdansk!!!!!!!! you joking mate its only 25 hours from Gdansk to Leicestershire including ferry crossing

What a difference a few days make! After deciding we were going, a few things have conspired against us. If only this thread had been posted a couple of days sooner, we'd be going for certain. Hey ho. As it is, we can only go the week prior to this meet. Looks like Wendy and I will be doing some sort of trip. More than likely into Europe, possibly down to Italy (only a year late eh? ). Anyway, I've managed to miss the previous three Euro meets so I look forward to missing next years too. Pick somewhere crappy willl you so we don't feel so bad about missing it
